Información
I told you I would be putting up more information for you this week and here it is! I have created a Amazon Wish list of some ALS flashcards, dictionaries, and other study aids. They have both English and Spanish with them, that was one thing I made sure of. If you would like to purchase one of these for these children at the orphanage, all you have to do is click on this link http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/registry.html?ie=UTF8&type=wishlist&id=GLOM027YTNCH and it will lead you right to it. The cool thing with this wish list it has the option, if you would like to purchase one or more of these, to send it right to me. I know the Eagle's Nest and the children would be very grateful for you help and so would I.

Gloria Dios!
I find it humorous, in a awe inspiring way, when God lets you see why you learned something way before you would ever need it and use it to Glorify Him. In Junior High I learned sign language. I took a class at school and also learned it from two amazing people at my church that had a ministry translating church services for some deaf people that were attending our church. I enjoyed it but I leaned it just for fun, thinking that I probably would not use it except to talk to my friends when I did not want anyone else to know what I was saying. Needless to say I do not use it much anymore.
I was reading The Eagle's Nest Blog http://www.eaglesnestguatemala.blogspot.com/ and found out that two children were given to them that were deaf and mute. They have no formal education and it is hard not only for the children, but for the people working at the orphanage to communicate with each other. God lit a light bulb in my head reminding me that I knew enough sign language to possibly help teach them the basic words and sentences that would help the children and the people at the orphanage communicate. All I could think was wow! God put me in those classes almost 10 years ago for a reason, to help these children! I talked with Felis, my contact at the orphanage and she was as excited as I was. She told me that there is a woman coming before I am who is ASL (American Sign Language) certified and will be there teaching the children. When I go down I will be able to help them with what they have learned and help them learn new words.
In this awesome showing of God's Power I need you help. They need ASL dictionaries, flash cards, and other ASL aids. If you would like to help please contact me on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/haileystine and I will give you my address to send the books to. I will be putting more information on here once I get all the ASL stuff they need. Be on the look out in the next couple of post for more Instructions!

Billete de avión
It is official ...I now have my airplane ticket! This whole trip seems more real, now that I have transportation. The ticket was a decent price but still more than I wanted to spend (isn't it always that way when it comes to plane tickets). I will be flying out of Dallas bright and early on June 2nd and will land in Guatemala at 11 a.m. that same day. It seems crazy to think that six weeks from now I will be at the Eagles Nest working, bettering my Spanish skills, and doing what God has laid on my hear to do. My Adventure is now going full speed ahead!
