Un dia loca (my crazy day)

I have made it safely Guatemala City! Let me tell you though getting there was an experience. I get to the Dallas airport at 4:40 a.m. to leave at 6:40... so far so good. Before I go through security my dad prayed for safety and said, "God we don't asked for the easy way, but you way". We board the plane but we sat in the plane for about an hour wondering what was going on. Apparently our flight crew was in Huston but My plane and I were in Dallas. Because of this me an many others missed our connecting flights in Huston. I was a little freaked out but we were able to figure everything out and I ended up getting a flight that left Huston at 7:40 getting me to Guatemala City at 9:20. I kept thinking to myself not the easy way but His way. It was definitely God's way. I got to me a family that was going to San Marco, Guatemala and the mother did not speak English very well. We stuck together for most of the day talking and getting to know each other. They were so sweet and kind and her children did so well through the crazy day we had. Then on my flight to Guatemala I met some wonderful people from Arkansas who were going on a missions trip also to Guatemala. We started talking and come to find out they had been to The Eagle's Nest a few years ago and one of the ladies in their group adopted a boy from them and he is now 16. How cool is God?! Very cool!!!!! I love it when God shows me those cool little tidbits of his awesomeness!
